Use this guide to install StarKey Wallet, connect it to ElyxS, and understand what the wallet is asking you to approve.
Install StarKey Wallet
- Open the official StarKey website.
- Install the browser extension from the link provided there.
- Create a wallet or restore one using StarKey's own recovery flow.
- Store your recovery information offline and away from anyone else.
ElyxS support will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, password, or recovery fragments.
Use the active ElyxS network
The current ElyxS environment determines which Supra network and contracts are valid. Use the network shown in ElyxS; do not choose one from an old guide or screenshot.
Before a protected transaction, ElyxS checks the connected account and network again. A mismatch stops the action before the transaction is created.
If the active environment is Testnet, use Testnet SUPRA from the official Supra faucet. Testnet tokens have no real monetary value.
Connect to ElyxS
- Unlock StarKey Wallet.
- Select Connect in ElyxS.
- In Connect Wallet, review and accept the current documents if prompted.
- Select StarKey Wallet and approve the connection.
- Confirm that ElyxS shows the address you intended to use.
A wallet connection shares your public address. It does not move funds and does not require network gas.
Understand wallet prompts
ElyxS can ask for three different approvals:
- Connection — lets ElyxS see the selected public address.
- Message signature — proves control of that address and starts or refreshes a protected session. It does not move assets.
- Blockchain transaction — can buy a ticket, submit another onchain action, or move assets. It can require network gas.
Read the wallet prompt each time. Do not approve a transaction when you expected a harmless login message.
Keep enough SUPRA for gas
Paid actions can include both the displayed amount and a separate network fee. Free onchain actions can also require gas.
The wallet and current network policy determine the fee at submission time. Do not rely on a fixed fee copied from documentation.
If an action is uncertain
- If you rejected the prompt before submission, correct the issue and start again.
- If StarKey shows a transaction hash, check it before repeating the action.
- If ElyxS is still reconciling the transaction, wait for the status to update.
- If the account or network changed, reconnect the intended wallet before continuing.
Do not submit the same transaction again while the first result is unknown.
For transaction checks, see Read SupraScan for ElyxS. If the wallet or transaction details look unexpected, stop and contact Support.
